Managing your products

With Vendr, it’s never a hassle to start selling right away. Vendr also offers tools that make licensing your products intuitive and puts you in complete control. If you haven't already created a product, see Creating a Product under Beginner's Guide.

Modifying a product

Products have the following attributes…

• Name • the name of the product (text)
• Description • the description of the product (text)
• Test Game • the ID of the place that includes a copy of the product for demonstration purposes (number, Roblox Place ID)
• Stock • the available copies left, unlimited by default (number)
• Icon • the image you see on the product listing page (number, Roblox Decal ID)
• Customer role (Role ID) • the role a user receives in your Discord server when they buy the product (number or “none”)
• Sale • whether the product is on sale or not (“True” or “False”)
• Tags • the tags used in the product which can be used to easily find it in the hub (“Modify” or “Remove All”)
• File • the file of the product (file)

To change an attribute, simply include one of those attributes when running the /edit command. If you run the command without any attributes, you will see further details about the product instead.

Deleting a product

If you exceed the maximum product limit or no longer wish to keep a product in your store, you may remove it using the /delete command. Be advised that once you delete a product you cannot undo this action. This will also delete any associated licenses, which may mean that products containing a whitelist may cease to function.
